Rosetown Playhouse’s winter youth production of When in Rome is a fun, tongue-in-cheek musical satire — book by Martin Follose, music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. Set in a playfully anachronistic Ancient Rome (think Flintstones-meets-gladiators), the show follows the citizens of Rome through class divides, palace intrigue, and the roar of the arena, all while poking fun at how much our modern world still has in common with the empire of old. Featuring a large cast of young performers, it’s a lively, comedic showcase of talent from across the Rosetown community.
