Rosetown Playhouse’s winter youth production of A Bad Case of Stripes: The Musical brings David Shannon’s beloved picture book to vibrant, colorful life. It follows Camilla Cream, a young girl who secretly loves lima beans but hides it for fear of what her classmates will think. When she breaks out in a magnificent case of rainbow stripes that shift with every suggestion around her, Camilla learns that the only cure is being true to herself — a funny, heartfelt celebration of individuality that reminds audiences, young and old, to wear their own stripes proudly.
