Based on the beloved stories by P.L. Travers and the classic 1964 Disney film, Mary Poppins is a magical musical that has delighted audiences worldwide. When the Banks family of Cherry Tree Lane finds itself in need of a new nanny, the mysterious and extraordinary Mary Poppins arrives on the East Wind, armed with her talking parrot-headed umbrella and a bottomless carpetbag full of surprises.
With the help of her cheerful friend Bert, Mary Poppins takes Jane and Michael Banks on a series of unforgettable adventures, teaching them—and their distracted parents—valuable lessons about family, imagination, and what truly matters in life. From jumping into sidewalk chalk drawings to visiting Uncle Albert’s floating tea party, each magical moment brings the family closer together.
Featuring beloved songs from the film including “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” “A Spoonful of Sugar,” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee,” along with new numbers written for the stage, this theatrical adaptation adds depth and darkness from Travers’ original books while maintaining the wonder and whimsy that make Mary Poppins practically perfect in every way.
