Auditions - General Information

Auditions are a great way to get involved with Rosetown Playhouse! Our auditions are always fun, casual and exciting. If you're a seasoned veteran or trying out for your very first show, Rosetown is always casting a wide variety of people from all walks of life.

Auditions are held at:
Roseville Area Middle School Theatre
15 E. County Road B-2, Little Canada, MN 55117

Depending on the show, auditions involve group improvisation, reading or acting scenes from the script, dancing, and singing. A typical audition might include:
   • Singing a song of your choice, a capella
   • Performing a reading from the script
   • Performing a short dance routine taught to you at your audition

YouTube Auditions:
For those unable to attend during scheduled audition times, Rosetown accepts YouTube auditions.
You will be asked to post a video of yourself doing a short monologue (1-2 minutes), singing your selected song, and performing a sampling of your 'dance moves'.
